Do you want to help defend, strengthen, and promote democracy in America? Here are some resources that can help.
Voting
First, informed voting is a civic duty. The National Latino Evangelical Coalition just released a resource to help you think through this responsibility. It’s called “With Love: A Christian Guide to Faithful Voting.” This isn’t one of those “voter guides” telling you which candidates to support. Rather, it helps you think through voting decisions for yourself. It acknowledges that Christians won’t always agree on voting decisions and provides guidance on what to do when we disagree.
Elections
Second, you can help strengthen our election system by signing up to become a Trusted Neighbor. Trusted Neighbors is a program of Advancing Liberty Coalition (AVC is a member). Sign up today and you’ll be connected with a local State Lead and offered training and become part of a community of Trusted Neighbors actively working to strengthen elections in their own local communities.
Extreme Polarization
Third, you can strengthen our democracy by helping to reduce extreme polarization. Common Ground USA has a resource to help you do that: the Peacemaker’s Toolkit. Use this resource in your community groups or organizations. It’s written for use in churches, as well as secular, non-Christian, or multi-faith spaces.

Roys Report: “The rise of the Jim Crow theobros”
This group, many of whom fit the Reformed Christian theobro typology — known for their distinctive beards, suits and penchant for exegeting over whiskey — has wedded old-school segregationist theology from the Jim Crow-era South with the hypermasculinity of the manosphere and the savvy of the attention economy to preach white supremacy, antisemitism and patriarchy, mostly to disillusioned young men on the internet.
And along the way, they are turning outrage into cash.
